The territory of Belgium is a Member State of the European Union (EU) and thus part of the Schengen Area. Generally, non-EU citizens need a visa to stay in Belgium.

How to request your Visa invitation letter
You can request an invitation letter for Visa purposes in ConfTool when registering for the conference. You will need to provide the following information exactly as reported in your passport:
- Full Name
- Residential Address
- Passport Country
- Passport Number
- Place of Issue Passport (DD.MM.YYY)
- Date of Issue Passport (DD.MM.YYY)
- Date of Expiry Passport (DD.MM.YYY)
- Date of Birth (DD.MM.YYY)
- Place of Birth (Town, Country)
NOTE: visa invitation letters are issued once a week in bulk.

Please be aware that as the local organizer of the event, the local organizers, or EFA, are not obligated to issue an invitation letter if there is suspicion that visas may be misused for a purpose other than attending the conference.
Please note that while this invitation letter may help facilitate the visa issuance process, it does not guarantee that your visa application will be approved. It is your responsibility to apply for a visa on time and provide any additional supporting documentation as required. If your visa application is declined, EFA 2026 local organizers team/EFA cannot arrange for the issuance of your visa on your behalf.
